Let say that you are reading your dashboard and you spot a peak on traffic on June the 10. Then you relate this peak to an email campaign that you sent that day; Now you can go to your reports and even learn who open the email and who clicked, do you think this is valuable information?
Wouldn’t it be nice that the newspaper tells you how many people saw your ad? and even better who read it?
With Google Analytics you can create goals and measure their accomplishments, so you can know your conversion rate.
If you do this regularly you can come with ideas to improve the quality and the conversion rate of your Internet marketing efforts.
I hope I made my point: Analytics are easily available (an in the case
of Google Analytics they are FREE), almost everything can be measured on the Internet (you need to focus on the information that is valuable for you) and they are easy to use
Now let me ask you: Do you think those reports can help improve your business?
To improve your website?
A wise man said “You cannot improve one thing by 1000% but you can
improve 1000 little things by 1%” By improving your website a little
by little every month, your customers are going to find more relevant
information, easier to use and therefore they must be more willing to contact
you. Is a win-win situation. And you will make your website a Lead Generator.
